Carer Support Wiltshire are pleased to be re-opening their popular carer café in Pewsey. The café will take place on the first Tuesday of every month – starting on Tuesday 3 January 2023 – between 10.30am – midday at Pewsey Methodist Church, North Street.
Carer cafes are spaces where unpaid carers, those who are supporting a friend, neighbour or family member, can meet for cake and a hot drink to speak with others who are in similar situations and to recharge. The cafes are free to attend and there’s no need to book. A trained volunteer will be on hand and there are no expectations placed on attendees. Some people like to talk about and exchange information relating to their caring role and others just come to meet new people and have some time out.
