Police are appealing for information after a man was seen acting suspiciously in the Clench Common area south of Marlborough around midday on Monday, February 29.
Police received reports of a man deliberately dropping litter and then picking it up with a litter picker. He also seemed to be ‘scouting’ the houses.
He is described as white, in his late 20s or early 30s, six feet tall, of skinny build and he was wearing a navy polo shirt with MAC on the front in light blue lettering. He wore black work trousers. He left in a white Ford Transit van with MAC Landscape Gardening on the side.
Wiltshire Police are asking anyone who saw this man around Clench Common or have seen a person matching this description and acting suspiciously to get in touch with them via the 101 telephone number.
