Problems faced by visitors and patients arriving by car at Great Western Hospital will be lessened by work this Spring to enlarge the hospital’s car parks.
Swindon Council have given GWH planning permission to expand their gravel-based staff car park. This will make room for an extra 400 cars.
While this will make parking easier for staff, it will in turn free up more spaces in the visitors’ car parks.
This planning permission comes with conditions and work is underway to bring the new parking into operation during the Spring.
