Classical music + busking = The Classic Buskers and they will be Live Music Pewsey’s next event – at the Bouverie Hall, Pewsey at 7.30pm on Friday, December 11.
So, if you’re feeling a little jaundiced or perhaps a bit under Amazon’s thumb or Argos’ little finger, take a break and prepare to be entertained.
The Classic Buskers communicate their passion for classical music in two of the best ways possible – their virtuosity on a range of musical instruments and a great sense of humour.
Their arrangements of the best known works from the world of classical music delight aficionados as much as anybody who simply appreciates wit and wants to be entertained.
From major classical works such as Vivaldi’s Four Seasons to opera favourites like Mozart’s Don Giovanni and Catalani’s La Wally – with or without its famous and almost unstage-able avalanche scene, but with music you will recognise.
The audience comes away from a Buskers’ concert on a high, having been both entertained and educated, and realising that classical music can be fun!
