Witnesses are being sought after a tourists’ camper van, parked in Avebury’s National Trust car park, was broken into.
The owners, from Germany, parked at around 5.00pm on Tues 5 Jan, they returned at 5.20pm to find the driver’s window smashed and two bags, which were sandwiched between the two front seats, had been stolen. The bags contained an i-pad, a passport and some money.
People are reminded not to leave valuables on display in their vehicles and take anything of value with them, when they leave their vehicle.
