Last night, Thursday 1 March thieves broke into East Sands Store in Burbage and stole cigarettes.
There were two suspects and they were disturbed by a neighbour who was then threatened with an axe before they made off in ‘a dark coloured vehicle’.
Police are appealing for any dashcam or video doorbell footage from the area that could possibly have captured anything suspicious between 11.30pm last night and 12.30am this morning (Thursday 2 March).
