Armed robbery at Aldbourne Post Office

A man has been charged in connection with an armed robbery at Aldbourne Post Office on Wednesday afternoon (November 14). WITH UPDATE.

 
A man from Swindon, Matthew Stepp, who is aged 37 and of no fixed abode, has been charged with robbery, threatening a person with a blade in a public place, and possession of a class A drug.
 
He was remanded in custody, appeared at Swindon Magistrates Court on Thursday morning, was again remanded in custody and is next due to appear at Swindon Crown Court on December 14.
