It is proposed that the Parade become a one way street.
Why does this mean there has to be a reduction in parking ?
I agree with Peter Morgan that the responsible authorities should be looking to increase the amount of car parking in the centre of town and not reducing it.
Plenty of car parking is necessary in the town centre if the businesses there are to thrive and be viable.
Prioritising the convenience of through traffic at the expense of residents and traders should be the last thing on the minds of the relevant authorities.
