Preshute Primary School welcomed preschool children for a Stay & Play session earlier this week. It was a morning filled with fun autumnal activities including cooking up a mess in the mud kitchen and getting creative in the classroom.
The school would like to give a big thank you to Easton Royal Pumpkin Patch who donated all the pumpkins for the mud kitchen. Charlotte Coulson, EYFS/KS1 teacher, said, “These sessions really help prepare the children for starting school. The children and the parents can get a feel for school life and start building relationships, and most importantly, have a lot of fun!”
The next Stay and Play session will be on November 21st from 9.30 am to 11 am. This is a special outdoor stay and play session. Charlotte Coulson commented, “Join us for a special morning exploring the beautiful gardens at Westwind just up the road from the school. Hot chocolate and marshmallows will be served on our return. Tea and coffee will be provided for the adults as well. It’s all thanks to our parent committee.”
