It was a pity that the President of the Rotary Club chose to write such a snide letter in response to Mr Culley’s criticism of the Club’s High Street Christmas tree. In it he impugns Mr Culley’s generosity of spirit.
My only experience of Mr Culley’s public generosity was in connection with the Civic Dinner held some three years ago in aid of the Help for Heroes Fund.
It was impressive.
