The windmill boasts heritage and history by the flour sackful. Originally built in 1821, following the opening of the nearby Kennet and Avon Canal, it ground wheat for 100 years before falling into disrepair.
However, the mill was restored by volunteers in 1976, and reopened to the public. Today, the mill produces its own stone-ground wholemeal flour, which is available to buy at Marr Green Farm Shop in Burbage, Cobbs Farm Shop at Froxfield, and the post offices at Great Bedwyn and Aldbourne.
Tours will take place between noon and 5pm. For more information log on to www.wiltonwindmill.co.uk
