Pewsey Downsaround challenge event – April 26th

Organised by the Wiltshire Group of the ‘long distance walkers association’ (LDWA), the event is not a race and exists to enable walkers of all ages and abilities to enjoy walking over some of the finest countryside in the UK. For people new to long distance walking a 10 miles route can be chosen.  For more experienced walkers the choices are 17 miles, 26 miles or 35 miles.

The route starts at the Pewsey Scout Hut SN9 5ES (SU162601), this circular walk on footpaths & bridleways has beautiful views over the Vale of Pewsey & Marlborough Downs. The route visits many sites of archaeological interest, including Avebury Stone Circle

General Notes

Light refreshments at all checkpoints, & a light meal at finish. We will cater for vegetarians & may have some vegan & gluten free options available. Limited to 300 entries. E-Certificate for all finishers
