A new hub for creative businesses has opened in Marlborough.
The hub has opened in a former GPs surgery at 23-24 The Parade, and aims to become a creative hot house for freelancers in the creative industries.
The Grade II listed building was developed by Ross Smith, who also runs his engineering consultancy from The Parade.
“I wanted to create a space for them that would harness their enthusiasm and provide an environment that creativity could feed off creativity,” he said.
“So far the project has been a phenomenal success and we are now home to a marketing agency, chartered surveyors, an award winning sports PR consultancy and even an international consumer-tech start-up.
“We still have a few offices and spaces left but we are being quite selective to whom we let in. The vibe in the building is fantastic and all the guys working here are creating a great atmosphere that we don’t want to dilute”.”
The site offers secure parking for cars and bikes, superfast broadband, and a shower is soon to be fitted to encourage people to run and cycle to work.
