
Prior to the service held in St Mary’s Church all of the Wiltshire Town Mayors gathered together on the Town Hall steps for a photo to mark the ocasion.
“It’s to celebrate young people” said Mayor Lisa when explaining the theme for the service. ”It’s a recognition of the transformation of education in Marlborough over the years, from early days until now.” she added.

Also present were the deputy Lieutenant of Wiltshire – Mr Deepak Gupta, the Under Sheriff of Wiltshire – Mr David Lewis, Vice Chairman of Wiltshire Council, Councillor James Sheppard and Lt Col Simon Puxley, Commanding Officer of 4MI Batallion.
