
Tim Price was recently named as the World’s number one Eventer by the International Equestrian Federation and they have both represented their home country, New Zealand on many occasions including at the Olympics and the World Equestrian Games.
Even at the weekend they were both representing New Zealand in Aachen in the Nation’s Cup competition, from which they only returned on Sunday.
Their schedule during the Eventing season is relentless and after this presentation they are leaving to catch a ferry to Ireland where they will be competing with six horses at various levels in the Senna Lease Campline International Horse Trials at Cappoquin in County Waterford.
On behalf of the Town Council and Marlborough as a whole Mayor Mervyn thanked them, for all they had done to promote the Marlborough area and wished them every succes in the forthcoming event in Ireland and everything beyond.
