Jane Scott, Tory leader of Wiltshire Council, is inviting all residents in the county to take part in an online survey aimed at discovering their views and concerns on the operation of the unitary authority.
She has sent out a letter to “Dear Wiltshire Resident”, in which she says: “Wiltshire Council and its partners are committed to developing and delivering services that reflect the differing needs of local communities.
“With this in mind, I invite you to complete our resident’s survey ‘What matters to you?’
“I hope you are able to spare a few moments to complete the survey. Your comments and input are very important and will help us to shape the future of your local area.”

A full report will be produced once the results of the survey have been analysed, and it will be made available on the council website.
The survey has seven sections dealing specifically with your local area, council spending, community safety, lifestyle, the environment, local health priorities and a final one called About You.
