Members of Wiltshire Agricultural Preservation Group (WAPG) took their vehicles out for a Road Run on Easter Sunday, and raised money for charity. Vintage tractors, and even vintage fire engines, as well as spanking brand new tractors, entertained on-lookers on the route which started and ended at The Brown Jack, Wroughton and went to Royal Wootton Bassett, R.E.M.E Museum, Lyneham as well as Calne, Marlborough, Ogbourne St George and Chiseldon.

Wayne Sherman, President of WAPG, told Marlborough.news, “We’ve donated £60,000 to charities over the last 13 years. Our primary charities include the Wiltshire Bobby Van Appeal, Help for Heroes and The Wiltshire Air Ambulance Trust.”
Members from WAPG will be taking their vehicles to the 2024 Wiltshire Steam and Vintage Rally on June 8th and 9th in Broad Town, near Swindon. This year is the 50th Anniversary of WAPG and so the event is going to be part of the celebrations.
