The third single – ‘Infectious‘ – off their soon to be released debut album ‘…Beyond Reverence‘ will be out on Friday next week (28 July). It’s been a busy period for Deadlight Dance, Tim Emery and Nick Fletcher as they had a major reunion of the band last Sunday in Aldbourne.

Deadlight Dance – or then ‘Reverence’ came together at St John’s in 1989. They played their last show in late 1990 and, as happens so often especially when bands are formed in school, the members go off on the separate ways.
Last Sunday at The Blue Boar in Aldbourne, Tim and Nick reunited onstage with Mike Dymond and Greg Moore. “Mike is down in Southampton and we’d played a couple of times with him but Greg is currently living out in Atlanta, Georgia.” singer and multi-instrumentalist Nick Fletcher explained to marlborough.news. “Scheduling is hard enough as it is with adults but when you factor in travel across continents and a global pandemic, this was a long time in the making. Thirty three years since we were last onstage together!” he added.
Original singer Richard Weaver was last seen in Thailand over a decade ago.
“We’d love to get the five of us together in one room, or stage, but realistically we have managed to achieve what many Sixth Form bands never get to do” said multi-instrumentalist Tim Emery. “At the same time, as much as we like looking back, we’re very much focused on the future.”
The new album, ‘…Beyond Reverence‘, engineered and produced by Nick Beere at his internationally acclaimed Mooncalf Studios in Chiseldon is down for a September release.
‘Infectious‘ will be available on all streaming platforms as from Friday next week – 28 July, as will the accompanying video – a zombie themed film shot mainly in Wiltshire – on YouTube. Not available until Friday 28 July, but the link is here.
