Richard Clewer, Leader of Wiltshire Council will be at the Town Hall for an ‘Ask the Leader’ session on Tuesday 17 September at 6pm. A ninety minute audience open to all where we – residents – can address questions directly to the Leader of the Council.
The release from Wiltshire Council states that the event is ‘an opportunity to put questions directly to the Leader of the Council, Cllr Richard Clewer, and hear his thoughts and plans for the future.’
He’s getting around. According to the list of visits to date Marlborough is the twelfth town to hold such a session (why not first?) following just about all the other towns in the Wiltshire Council area. But when he turns up this will prove that he either knows how to use a sat nav, or better still he knows where Marlborough is.
To quote: “I would encourage residents to come along and ask me any questions and find out more about the work we are doing.
“I have visited 13 of Wiltshire’s 18 community areas so far, and although there are some common themes that we are prioritising, these events have been a great opportunity to tackle issues that are unique to each community area and ensure our priorities reflect those of local communities.
“If people can’t make the event but would still like to ask a question, they can submit it in advance to communications@wiltshire.gov.uk.”
So either turn up by 6pm on 17 September, and/or send in a question by e-mail to the address above.
