Marlborough’s Post Office will finally reopen on Monday (29 June). Following many complaints and the intervention of Devizes MP Danny Kruger The Post Office this morning, Friday 26 June, confirmed that it would be open to customers again next week.
A Post Office spokesperson, told marlborough.news: “We are pleased to announce that Marlborough Post Office is due to re-open on Monday (29). We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused by the temporary closure of the branch due to staffing issues and we thank customers for their patience during these unprecedented times.”
Before lockdown and the extended period of closure of the Post Office, there were periods where it closed unannounced, sometimes for hours, other times for days.
