At last night’s meeting of the Marlborough Town Council Planning Committee Councillors, lead by Committee Chair, Cllr Mervyn Hall welcomed new Councillor Emily Trow.
Emily was selected by a process of co-option at the previous meeting – an extraordinary meeting of the full Town Council on Monday 18 September to represent Marlborough’s ‘East’ ward.
At her co-option Emily expressed her belief that it was for the Town Council to make a real difference for local people. She had been a regular volunteer for many events in the town, and wanted to take this a stage further to represent the community and be a voice for the residents, the whole community of Marlborough.
