Jonathan Leigh has today announced his intention to retire as Master of Marlborough College with effect from the end of the Summer Term 2018.
He has been an outstanding Master for the College and will have served six years in the post by the time of his retirement, marking the culmination of a long and distinguished career in education which includes two previous headships.
Regarding a successor, the Council of Marlborough College has established a sub-committee under the chairmanship of Lord Malloch-Brown, the Chairman of Council, to oversee the selection process to identify the best candidate for the next Master.
