Classic cars and bikes were organised courtesy of u3a and music by the traders in The Parade where the whole area had been closed for cars and turned into a Family Festival with plenty of music, food, drink and good company.

Selection of pics of the cars on display in the Cavalcade. Impressive, from the wonderful Delahaye, the Daimler called ‘Daisy’, the Nissan Skyline R33 – one of a series of Nissans that made some Japanese cars ‘Classics’, Rileys, MGs, a Lea Francis, Rolls Royce and of course the beautiful and now very rare 1914 Stanley Steam Car.

In the afternoon it was the turn of the bikes. Mainly more modern, many Royal Enfields, Triumphs, BMW, several Harleys and a lovely old – but regularly used – Norton.
