A man who is accused of repeatedly abusing a five-year-old girl is to face trial by judge and jury.
Sean Daly pleaded not guilty to two counts of indecent assault and two of indecency with a child when he appeared at Swindon Crown Court.
The 48-year-old is said to have molested the child on a number of occasions between June 1997 and May 1998.
Judge Simon Carr adjourned the case to Monday, October 3 and released Daly, of Five Styles Road, Marlborough, on conditional bail until then.
