
Suzanne Parnell-Dunn, School Bursar, told Marlborough.news, “The children, parents and local residents all responded amazingly well. They very quickly filled the twelve baskets with items, exceeding last year’s impressive collection. 344 items were donated.

Emma Russell, is the Headteacher of Kennet Valley, “Christmas is supposed to be a time of joy and celebration, but unfortunately for many people it is becoming increasingly difficult with more people than ever expected to need to use a food bank during the festive period.”
“This is precisely why the Kennet Valley community have come together, as we feel that it is important that we all understand that there are people less fortunate than ourselves. We should all do our bit to try to help where we can, especially at this special time of the year”.
