Pewsey Vale School welcomed back their Year 11 students today to celebrate their exam results. Parents and family members waited anxiously as the students opened their envelopes to see what they had achieved whilst staff congratulated them and said their farewells.
The school’s cohort this year consisted of significantly varied abilities, with some of the students sitting traditional qualifications achieving the highest grades in the country whilst those students who entered non-performance table exams, still achieved great success; ensuring that they are now moving on to their next stage in education.
Specialist staff were on hand to help students to secure their post-16 destinations and support then with their next steps.
Head Teacher, Neil Pritchard, commented “I am looking forward to seeing these students return to us in November when we can celebrate their successes and hear about how their new adventures are going in our Presentation Evening”.
