This coming Sunday – 5 October – the doors of Lloran House will close to Rick Stein for good. Long rumoured, finally confirmed by Rick Stein restaurants – Sunday will be the last day
Gracing Marlborough’s High Street since 2016, one of the town’s more prestigious restaurants – along with Pino’s and Dan’s – something in the Rick Stein machinery has gone awry and whilst it may be a bit over the top to say that the ‘wheels have come off’, whatever the reason, it’s closing.
A spokesperson for Rick Stein Restaurants said:
“We can confirm our Marlborough restaurant will permanently close with our last service on Sunday 5th October. We sincerely thank our dedicated team for their hard work and our loyal guests for their continued support – we’ve loved being part of the Marlborough community. All guests who have upcoming reservations have been notified and Rick Stein Marlborough gift cards can still be redeemed at any other Rick Stein Restaurants or used for online purchases. Our other Rick Stein restaurants, and rooms, continue to trade well.”
