The Doreen King Foundation is a Trust Fund set up by a past Governor of Pewsey Vale School from which present and former pupils of Pewsey Vale School receiving further education or training elsewhere can benefit. The Trust can provide financial help for such things as specialist clothing, tools, books, equipment, travel in connection with the course being taken (but not normal daily travel), help towards entering a profession or a trade.
If you are a student currently in Year 10 or 11 at Pewsey Vale School or a past student you are encouraged to apply for funding towards your future education and training. Applications should be made by letter from the pupil or former pupil (not on their behalf) and include your address and telephone number, to arrive no later than Monday April 19, 2021 to Mrs J Sawyer, Trustee and Correspondent, 30 Astley Close, Pewsey, Wiltshire SN9 5BD. All applications are treated in confidence and acknowledged and considered by the Trustees at a meeting the following month. All applicants will be advised of the Trustees’ decision following that meeting.
