Wiltshire Air Ambulance will be hosting a special Carols by Candlelight event on Tuesday December 20 in Marlborough College Chapel. Doors will open at 6pm for a 7pm start. The service will be led by Bishop Andrew from Salisbury and will include carols sung by The Warminster Military Wives Choir and Marlborough Youth Choir.
There will be readings from critical care paramedic Craig Wilkins, lifetime president Richard Youens and charity ambassador Paul Martin. Attendees will be able to enjoy refreshments, including mulled wine and minced pies.
Tickets can be purchased online here and cost £12 for adults, £8 for under-16s and a family ticket (for 2 adults, 2 children) is priced £35.

Wiltshire Air Ambulance has been saving lives for more than 30 years. It is operational up to 19 hours a day, 365 days a year, in Wiltshire, Bath and surrounding areas. The charity has been operating on the front line throughout the Coronavirus pandemic.
Wiltshire Air Ambulance is a charity and relies on donations to keep saving lives. It receives no regular direct from the Government or National Lottery grants. It costs £4 million a year to keep the air ambulance flying, that’s around £11,000 per day.
Wiltshire Air Ambulance is called to, on average, three incidents a day in its helicopter and Rapid Response Vehicles (cars). In 2021 the charity was called to 1,104 incidents, with around one in three involving cardiac emergencies. Its paramedics are employed by South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust and seconded to Wiltshire Air Ambulance. Wiltshire Air Ambulance pays around 50% of the paramedic costs, including for training. It also operates with pre-hospital consultants (doctors) on board.
