The August display at The Little Gallery at the top of The Parade is a sale of rare fine art, showcasing renowned British artists. It’s a curated display and features works by some of Britain’s most celebrated artists, including Patrick Procktor RA, Fred Cuming RA, and Ken Howard OBE RA, alongside an unusual collection of original cartoon drawings and photographs from the iconic Langan’s Brasserie in London.
Something different for Marlborough, and such a display brings nationally recognised artists and rare works to a local audience. This August display offers collectors and art lovers an opportunity to acquire investment pieces at accessible prices.
The inclusion of artworks and photographs from Langan’s Brasserie adds a cultural and historic dimension, linking Malborough with London’s art and dining scene. Langan’s has long been ‘a place to be seen’ in London’s Mayfair, even more so than the gastronomic delights it presents, but one aspect that has always been taken as ‘a given’ has been what adorns the walls. And now a sprinkling of Mayfair and Langan’s is here, in The Parade at The Little Gallery.
“Bringing these significant works to Malborough allows collectors and the public alike to enjoy and acquire pieces by artists who have shaped the British art landscape”, says Grant Ford, of The Little Gallery.
This display will be running until the first week of September.
