
Until July last year, Cherry Orchard House was used by Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust as an impatient assessment and treatment centre for adults with learning disabilities, known as Postern House.
The two-storey property was purpose built as a care home in the 1970s. The 11,000 sq ft building set within just over an acre of land backs on to St John’s Academy.
The particulars of the property, which is being marketed by the healthcare department of estate agent Savills, says a former assessment and treatment centre is located on the upper ground floor while office space in provided below.
The property has been altered twice since it was first built, once in the 1990’ and again in 2011.

The closing date for offers by informal tender is next Wednesday, September 2.
