

The Ceremony commenced in the High Street where the Mayor inspected the troops of 4MI Battalion before being led by Phoenix Brass along the High Street, past the Town Hall to the Barn Street War Memorial.
The prayers and short address were conducted by the Revd Canon Andrew Studdert-Kennedy, and Alec Light, Branch Chairman of Marlborugh British Legion gave the exhortation. The Ceremony concluded with a service at St Mary’s Church.
