Following the success of the card last year, the charity is selling it as part of its 2017 range of Christmas cards – and they can be bought at the St Peter’s Church charity Christmas card stall.
The card was designed, painted and donated by Marlborough artist Colin Palmer. It shows Wiltshire Air Ambulance’s helicopter flying over a snowy Marlborough High Street with the Town Hall in the background.
Colin is a member of Marlborough Artists and has been a professional artist for over 30 years: “I’m delighted to hear that my design attracted so many buyers last year and I would encourage people to support such an admirable cause.”
Wiltshire Air Ambulance is a charity and relies almost entirely on public donations to keep flying. It costs £3.25 million a year to keep the air ambulance flying, that’s £8,904 per day.
