Wiltshire Council is giving all children under 16 free swimming at every council-run pool in the county over the Christmas school holidays – and you won’t have to break the ice.
Free swimming for under-16s is available during all school holidays. Last Christmas more than 2,600 children went along to swimming pools, and in the summer more than 52,000 free swimming sessions were recorded.
Those under 16 will be able to gain free access to all public swimming sessions during the Wiltshire Council recognised school holidays, however each leisure centre will retain the right to request proof of age before granting entry. Children under eight years old must be accompanied by an adult.
