For the past year and a bit, since November 2020 Preshute Parish Council has been developing a draft Neighbourhood Plan. It’s the Council’s own Plan for the Preshute area having withdrawn from the Marlborough Area Neighbourhood Plan project earlier in 2020.
Preshute Parish Council are at the beginning of what is called the Regulation 14 public consultation. This is the formal pre-submission opportunity for those who have an interest in the Preshute PC area to have their say on the proposed strategy towards land use in the parish until 2036.
As noted in the poster the consultation will run from Monday, February 21 until Friday 8 April. Who can respond? Anyone who lives, works or runs a business in the Preshute parish.
The draft Plan and supporting documents can be downloaded from the Preshute Parish Council website.
Every resident of Preshute has been sent a leaflet introducing the Plan and a reply paid response form for comments.
Online responses can be made using the feedback form provided on the website or direct by email to clerk@preshutepc.org.uk.
For details of how to respond using regular mail, please e-mail the Preshute Parish Council Clerk at the above e-mail address.
