A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “We would like to remind residents selling motorbikes or other similar items online to be extra vigilant when disclosing personal information, including your address, following a number of incidents where sellers have been targeted by criminals. Selling online is convenient, but potential buyers or people claiming to be interested in your items may not be as genuine as they initially seem.”
