Overnight road closures on roads through Great Bedwyn

Wiltshire Council are warning of overnight (7.00pm to 6.00am) road closures between December 15 and 19 north and south of Great Bedwyn.

For the nights of December 15 and 16 the road that runs from the A4 near The Palm into Bedwyn will be closed as far as the Three Tuns pub and the turning to Little Bedwyn which will be used for the diversion.  For the night of December 17 the road through the village and running on south of the village will be closed.  And on December 18 Oxenwood Road which runs north-south and east of Bedwyn Brail to join the A338, will be closed.

Weather permitting the work should be finished by the Saturday morning.  Diversions will be in signed and businesses will be able to open as usual.

These works involve resurfacing, the installation of new road markings and the adjustment of surface ironwork such as drain covers.
