Canon Ed Condry, the 59-year-old new Bishop of Ramsbury, is due to be consecrated as Bishop at Westminster Abbey on September 21.
He will be welcomed to the Salisbury Diocese on September 23 and is expected to make his first visit to Marlborough in December.
