Marlborough and Pewsey surgeries are inviting their patients and members of the public to meetings to hear from local doctors about the proposed merger between Marlborough Medical Practice and Pewsey Surgery.
The meetings will be held on:
Tuesday, 24 January 2017 from 6.00pm until 7.30pm at Bourverie Hall, Pewsey. And on Wednesday, 25 January 2017 from 6.00pm until 7.30pm in the Assembly Rooms at Marlborough Town Hall.
The proposal – announced at the end of November – is for both practices to remain open and for GP appointments to continue to be provided from both sites. The merger is expected to take effect in the Spring 2017 and sharing resources is expected to give some 18,000 patients access to more flexible services.
