Bob Wise, who was editor of the former Marlborough Times and was racing correspondent for the Gazette and the Swindon Advertiser, has died at the age of 92.
He lived at Upper Churchfields.
There will be a thanksgiving service for Bob Wise on Tuesday, August 11 at 2.30pm at St Mary’s Church – following a burial service to be attended by family and close friends at 11.30am at the cemetery on Frees Avenue.
