On Wednesday 17 August, between mid-day and 3pm Newbury’s long-established Hogan Music will be holding a first ‘Summer Open Afternoon’, when visitors can meet lots of Hogan’s teachers, get hands-on trying out lots of instruments, discover their top floor recording studio and talk all things music lessons with their tuition team.
Head of Partnerships and Development at Hogan Music, Sam Wyne told Marlborough.news: “We’ve been wanting to organise an event like this for some time but we’ve always had restrictions limiting us. This is going to be a great opportunity to meet lots of new people and to showcase what we do best! We get many requests for try-out sessions so this is the perfect opportunity to try-out on as many instruments as you like and you never know, you may even want to start up that lifelong ambition of learning a musical instrument!”
The afternoon is suitable for people of all ages and no booking is required. Hogan Music can be found at Winchcombe House, 123-126 Bartholomew St, Newbury RG14 5BN. The nearest car park is the Kennet Centre Multistorey. For more information, please email tuition@hoganmusic.co.uk or sales@hoganmusic.co.uk
As well as this, visitors will be able to browse musical instruments and accessories in the Hogan Music Summer Sale.
