Devizes constituents who want to find out a bit more about their new MP, Danny Kruger, can read his tribute to Sir Roger Scruton on the UnHerd website.
It is titled Roger Scruton: Conservative lodestar: “The great philosopher gave Conservatism its head and heart, guiding the party to a great victory last year.”
The controversial Conservative and conservative philosopher lived in north Wiltshire. He was given a knighthood by David Cameron and when she was Prime Minister, Theresa May appointed Scruton as chairman of the commission looking into the future of architecture in England.
