The Summer Ball on June 10, now in its fifth year, will be bigger and better than ever before with two major bands – ‘iPop’ and ‘The Noise Next Door’.
More than 400 people attended last year’s Ball which helped to raise £10,000 for Julia’s House children’s hospice in Devizes.
This year’s main charity is the on-going renovation of Marlborough’s Victorian Cemetery.
The Friends of the Victorian Cemetery have worked over the last three years to establish it as a wildflower area. The aim is provide a tranquil and beautiful area to visit and to sit away from the hustle and bustle of the town. More renovations are planned.
Marlborough Summer Ball 2017 will take place in a marquee for 500 guests in front of the club house on the common. A £70 per person ticket will include reception drinks, a three course meal, dancing and entertainment from the bands. There will be a raffle and a small auction. The evening begins at 6.30pm and ends…late.
