After a drama packed series of eventing competitions, the fun and excitement of Saturday afternoon’s events like the Champions Challenge and the success of the Event Rider Masters management of the St James’s Place International Horse Trials, it is thought they have succeeded in cementing the business for the future.
Chris Woodhouse, the new owner of the Barbury Castle Estate, took part in Sunday afternoon’s prize ceremony after the Event Rider Masters competition. And it was reported that he had thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon’s eventing.
In public comments from local, international riders, he will have been reassured of the iconic status of the Barbury venue and its value to the eventing world and to the local economy.
