Community bus service benefits from all that steam and generosity

Kennet Community Transport raised almost £900 for its local bus service with a tombola at the Wiltshire steam fair held at Rainscombe Park over the weekend.

“These are essential funds,” organiser Councillor Alexander Kirk Wilson told Marlborough News Online.  “Local generosity has bought the new bus, but the maintenance, insurance and depreciation still needs to be paid for.”
