A group of seven cyclists from Marlborough travelled to France on June 4 to embark on a 150 mile trip across Normandy to raise money for Help For Heroes.
The trip was timed to coincide with the D-Day anniversary date and the group will be visiting many of the historic Second World War sites and military cemeteries en route to pay their respects.
The cyclists are Dene Zaleski, Jon Chidsey, Alex Dawson, Roddy Millar, Andy Kerr, Mark Jones and Paul Newman (not pictured).
The intrepid seven travelled without any support, so were totally self-sufficient – carrying everything they need with them on their bikes.
They were also funding the trip themselves, so all the money raised will go to Help For Heroes.
If anyone wishes to make a donation there is a form and collection point in the Roebuck Inn, Marlborough.
