The Marlborough Players are to perform a ‘modern’ version of the Canterbury Tales in the week 10-16 November and they are looking for more actors – particularly among the under-40s – to take on roles in this bawdy but fun show.
This up-dated version is by Phil Woods and Michael Bogdanov. There are lots of parts, both large & small, male & female, so there should be something for anyone who would like to get involved.
All the tales are quite short, and the plan is to put on seven of them.
A relaxed audition will be held at the Friends Meeting House, The Parade, Marlborough SN8 1NE from 8pm on Wednesday, 7 August. Further auditions will be held if necessary to fit in with the holiday season.
