A chance to question health leaders at Area Board

At the next meeting (November 26) of the Marlborough Area Board the focus will be on developments in health and social care for the area.

The meeting will hear presentations from leading health professionals including Nerissa Hughes, Chief Executive of Great Western Hospital; Ted Wilson, Group Director of Wiltshire Clinical Commissioning Group; Councillor Keith Humphries, Wiltshire Cabinet member for Public Health and Patrick Wintour of Healthwatch Wiltshire.

These will be followed by questions on any subject from winter pressures to surgery opening times.

There will also be the chance to look over the health related data about to be published in the new Joint Strategic Analysis for Marlborough.

The meeting will be at Marlborough Golf Club. With coffee and networking from 6.30pm, the meeting starts at 7.00pm. Also on the agenda will be setting up the Shadow Coummunity Operations Board to plan for Marlborough’s ‘services campus’.
