Sirs
We would like to ask why so few adults help with Scouting? All we need is a
friendly adult of any age that is strict, fair but fun – or our units may close.
We need someone who would really like to reawaken their inner child, or maybe
was part of Scouting when they were younger. If they were they will know they will
have loads of fun with us.
We do a variety of badge work and exciting activities such as campfires, water
sports, first aid, archery, wide games, cooking, pioneering, soldering, crafts, hikes,
navigation, shooting, work in the community, camping and many other lifesaving or
life skills.
Isn’t there anyone out there that is willing to give up some time so that we can
continue to have the same experience that you had?
Adults watch “I’m a celebrity ”, “Survival with Bear Grylls”, “Strictly”, “Bake off”,
“Britain’s Got Talent” – so now is their chance to be part of it. They just need to be
able to relax, stay cool and keep up with the banter of our troop!
If you are up to this challenge please can they contact us: wills0118@hotmail.co.uk
