I support both Sue and Jenny’s views on the plastic banners surrounding the Xmas tree. Lovely tree, good feel to the High St, but a notice expressing thanks to the Rotary Club nearby would surely be enough?
We are all grateful, I am sure, but the tree could be enjoyed so much more if it were displayed without those tired banners. They really do detract.
